How to install our Android apps

Follow these steps to safely download and install MERN Prep and other future PrepAppHub applications.

Open the official app page

Visit the PrepAppHub website and open the details page of the application you want to install.

Download the APK

Tap the Download APK button. The application file will start downloading to your Android device.

Open the downloaded file

Open your browser downloads or the Downloads folder and tap the downloaded APK file.

Allow installation permission

Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser or file manager. Enable permission only for the app you are using.

Install the application

Tap Install and wait for Android to complete the installation process.

Open and start learning

After installation, tap Open or find the application icon in your app drawer.

Why does Android ask for permission?

Android blocks applications downloaded outside the Play Store by default. When you open an APK, Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser or file manager.

Only enable this permission when the APK was downloaded from the official PrepAppHub website.

  • ✓Download APK files only from the official website.
  • ✓Avoid files shared through unknown groups or websites.
  • ✓Verify the application name and version before installation.
  • ✓Disable installation permission after completing the install.
App Updates

How to update an installed app

Download the latest APK version from the same official app page. Open the new APK and install it over the existing version. Android will update the application without removing its stored data, provided the app uses the same signing key.
